A Florida man has been caught on tape going berserk in the back of a police car, injuring himself and a police officer. Angelo Bocchino, a bricklayer from Deltona, was arrested early on Sunday morning for disorderly conduct and resisting officers outside a bar in Altamonte Springs.
After a struggle, officers managed to handcuff the 33-year-old and get him into their patrol car but he wasn't happy about it - and went on a violent rampage in the backseat on the way to jail.
On dash cam video, Bocchino can be seen repeatedly bashing his head against the interior of the vehicle, rocking back and forth violently.
When he gets tired of that he begins kicking at the doors of the patrol car.
At one point during the video, an officer warns him to calm down, but he continues to kick.
The unlucky policeman ends up with a broken nose after he's hit in the face during the violent outburst, according to
After a few more minutes of wild behaviour, the officers use a taser on the man's chest in a second attempt to quieten him.
He is seen grimacing in pain while the weapon zaps him.
Bocchino is accused of spitting all over the back of the patrol car and he continued to kick and bang his head all the way to the jail.
Police said Bocchino admitted to being intoxicated, but denied being on drugs.
He is charged with resisting an officer and battery on a law enforcement officer.
